This self-build ultra slim living plant wall kit is designed for both indoor and outdoor settings. You can easily fill it with water using a pressure spray bottle (available in our online shop). The built-in two-colour LED indicator lets you know when the system is full and when it needs refilling.

Choose Your Kit Option
You can purchase SlimWalls kits without plants, but if you choose this option, you will need to provide your own soil and plants. We offer detailed instructions on how to create a well-balanced soil mix and effectively plant your selected flora. Alternatively, you can opt for the fully-planted kit, which allows you to choose between indoor or outdoor plants. After a brief consultation regarding your wall’s positioning and your plant preferences, we will curate the perfect selection for you. Your SlimWalls kit will arrive with our unique Biochar-rich soil, ready for installation. Simply attach the hanging rails to your wall, hook the trays in place, and watch your greenery thrive.

Easy Installation Process

Our battery-operated SlimWalls kits come with a convenient battery system that lasts between 6 months and 1 year without the need for a plug. The installation is straightforward:

1. Attach the hanging rails to your desired location.
2. Hook on your planted trays.
3. As you fill the system manually with a pressure spray bottle, the LED will flash green, indicating that the system has been adequately replenished. With trays designed to hold enough water to sustain your plants for up to three weeks, maintenance is simple and efficient.

Enhanced Aesthetics

SlimWalls include sidewalls that provide a clean, defined edge finish. These sidewalls easily hook into the hanging rail and lock firmly in place when pushed down.

Each individual tray holds up to 3 litres of water, which is sufficient for your plants to thrive for about three weeks between top-ups.

Extended Watering Options

You can extend the time between water top-ups to 10 weeks by adding the new auto-feed water tank unit (available in our shop as the ‘SlimWalls AUTO-FEED kit’). The built-in wick system feeds each plant with the water it requires, while the cascading water flow system allows you to fill every tank from a single point, ensuring that all trays are filled in sequence.

Installation Made Simple

Each tray kit utilises a twin hanging rail system, requiring you to position the rails 100cm apart and securely affix them to your wall using the provided fittings. Then, effortlessly hook the planter trays in place, starting with the bottom control unit tray. Our standard off-the-shelf kits are arranged in columns, with each planter tray measuring 20cm in height. Self-build kits are shipped directly from our factory to you. You can choose to self-plant the system or select a professionally pre-planted kit. There’s no need to delay creating your living green wall masterpiece; start small now and expand later as your budget allows.

LED Water Level Indicator

Every battery-powered starter kit includes a two-colour LED that attaches easily to the front of your bottom tray. The colour guide is as follows:

• Red: Empty – Time to refill your system
• Green: Full – Stop filling

To refill, simply connect your pressure spray bottle to the fitting at the top of your system. As you pump, water will cascade down until the system is full, at which point the LED will flash Green. After around three weeks, the LED will intermittently flash Red, indicating that it’s time for a top-up.

Robust and Durable Slim Living Plant wall

The SlimWalls system is suitable for both indoor and outdoor living walls. Each steel component is either powder-coated or Plastisol® coated, designed to withstand even the harshest weather conditions. Our water feed tubes are made from durable 3mm thick Polyurethane, rated for temperatures between -20°C and 80°C. These tubes can handle high pressure and are resistant to wear and corrosion, meaning no rust, no brittle parts, and no leaks to repair.

This is a robust product designed for a lifespan of 25 years.

Larger SlimWalls Options

The battery-powered manual fill SlimWalls kits are limited to dimensions of 1m x 1.2m. This limitation is due to the time required to manually fill the system with water, which can take up to 15 minutes from empty to full, depending on the size you’ve purchased. If you’re looking for a larger system, we recommend considering either the Semi-automatic or Fully-automatic SlimWalls kits, available in our shop.
